Who Is Vagabondish?
Mike Richard / Founding Editor

Founding editor, Mike Richard, is a Rhode Island native, professional web designer and travel junkie with an unhealthy addiction to backpacking, hiking and seeing the world.
Since 2006, he has edited, written for, and kept the gears running behind the scenes at Vagabondish.com. He absconded from corporate life several years ago to travel full time and hasn’t had a permanent residence since.
He has spoken professionally as a featured panelist at the annual TBEX (Travel Blogger’s Exchange) conference. His other credits include “Woman’s World magazine contributor” and having once been interviewed by Tyra Banks (seriously).

Turner Wright / Features Writer

Turner Wright enjoys the finer things in life, which include: writing travel articles, eating too much, and running until his veins pump battery acid. He is a simple boy from Austin, Texas, but will soon be bouncing around three continents. Check out his blog, Once A Traveler.
Robert Evans / Features Writer

Robert Evans makes his living writing about dick jokes and smartphones whilst traveling around the world. He spends most of his time sampling regional intoxicants and trying not to offend anyone dangerous. His hobbies include barefoot running, experimenting with fire poi, and home brewed beer.
Stephanie Spencer / News & Sidelines Writer

Stephanie Spencer is a freelance travel writer from Canada who has been held captive by the travel industry for over 13 years. An incurable smart aleck, notorious purple fanatic, hat person, and ukulele player of questionable abilities, Stephanie explores the geeky side of travel on her blog A Nerd At Large, and dispenses random quirkiness as @ANerdAtLarge on Twitter. She truly believes that anything is possible with enough determination and copious amounts of chocolate.
Melissa Hennessey / News & Sidelines Writer

Melissa Hennessey is your standard Midwestern-would-be-vagabond with a penchant for all the little things that make travel even more excellent. Melissa has a day job she actually likes, and fills the rest of her day with writing, hot yoga and photo making. She travels as often as she can, usually with her fiancé. Unfortunately, their 3 cats don’t care much for travel due to the lack of cat-centric hostel search website. Stalk on: Twitter
