The proprietor of Argyle Fine Art in Halifax, Nova Scotia is bewildered after a painting was stolen in broad daylight, and immediately took to social media in an effort to recover the stolen art.

The landscape oil painting by local artist Gordon MacDonald was removed from the gallery while the owner was having a conversation with an artist. The painting is valued at $800, but has a much greater sentimental value to the painter.
