They do them all over the world. I meant to get to the Nuit Blanche in Toronto last year, which is similar but focussed on contemporary art, but didn’t get the chance. Wikipedia tells me there’s an event like this in Chicago, actually. I imagine it’s popular there and, if they have one, in New York. There are probably loads of Americans who would go.

I love this idea! I can’t imagine Americans staying out until two o’clock in the morning to “museum hop”. It just wouldn’t happen.

Yes, this is a very nice experience. We did Hamburgs “Lange Nach der Museen” last year. This is also highly recommended!
