Dog Lovers Barking Mad Over Qantas Terrier Ban

In a move that has enraged dog lovers, Australian airline Qantas has introduced a policy banning the transportation of Staffordshire Terriers as cargo.
The carrier has a list of prohibited dog breeds that it will not carry due to the airline’s concerns about their aggressiveness and out of concern for the safety of its employees. Staffordshire Terriers are the latest addition to this list.
Critics have poked a hole in this argument, however, by pointing out that the airline still permits ferocious creatures such as crocodiles and lions to be transported as cargo aboard its flights.
