A virtual currency has made further foray into the real world with the installation of the world’s first BitCoin ATM in Vancouver this week.

The machine will enable users to deposit up to $3,000 CAD per day to their digitalBitCoin account. The device scans the user’s palm print before exchanging Canadian Dollars for BitCoin. The daily limit and palm scan are measures to ensure compliance with Canada’s anti-money-laundering legislation.
