G-Form Extreme Hydro Sleeve: Ultimate Protection for (Almost) Any Tablet

I know, I know. We’ve been gushing fanboys of G-Form for a while now (here and here). But with good reason. They make some of the most badass mobile phone and tablet cases around. (Have we mentioned their Extreme Edge encased iPad that survived a 100,000+ foot fall from space?!). Yeah, really.

  1. Mike, I take it that you have never actually tested these sleeves on your own. I only assume that because I’m guessing you’ve watched all of the videos from G-Form and you figure they must work, right?

Well, G-Form was nice enough to send me out a G-Form Extreme Laptop sleeve a few months ago and after my first test (dropping it from 8ft onto grass), I opened up my G-Form sleeve only to find out that the screen on my laptop was cracked. #FAIL!

Since then, multiple emails have been sent and all I have received is a one sentence reply stating “G-form doesn’t warrant any damages” Sorry! G-Form has proved that they do not care about their customers, they simply care about promoting products that “protect” your equipment, yet they aren’t willing to cover any damages if you do decide to test it. Interesting!

I cannot speak for all G-Form products, but I can tell you that the G-Form Extreme Sleeve Laptop case is a complete and utter failure.

While I would hate to see you damage your own equipment, I would suggest you actually test out the products you review versus simply believing what you see. It will only make your reviews that much more credible.

Hope you’re enjoying SA! Have an incredible trip!
