A restaurant in Houston, Texas has responded to the demands of its customers and banned kids under nine years of age from its dining room from 7PM onward.

La Fisheria, a mexican seafood restaurant, instituted the policy after guests complained about children ruining their night out, and lamented the downfall of modern civilization through lax parenting. It seems that adults who wanted a romantic evening out were annoyed by disruptive children who weren’t properly supervised.

The restaurant still welcomes families with children eight and younger between the hours of 5-7PM.
