No arguments over grammar but I did 'stumble' over 'gifted' only because it didn't feel like an 8 yr old would say that. But, HEY, I'm middle America and realize that speech is different throughout this great country. Being a very visual person, I got the whole 'video' of this story. Reminded me of a great new "Christmas Story" that wouldn't carry the threat of "you're gonna shoot your eye out...". Well done! I loved the story.
