I know most Americans are insular to the point of almost living in a cocoon, but seriously. Talk about environmental disaster. ZB, as ridiculous as it sounds, I would not be at all surprised if that highway becomes like the main drag in Orlando, Florida. Horrified, yes. But not surprised. I suppose it's good China stopped at invading Tibet, as I would bet Tibet is the less popular approach to Everest for trekkers and climbers alike.
