The “Blue Hole” is a cave in New Mexico that has never been fully explored or documented. The cavern was last explored in 1976 by two students who died during their dive, and the cave has been covered and off-limits ever since. Police divers who went down after the two students made very rough, basic sketches and the ADM Exploration Foundation divers, led by Curt Bowen, plan to finally explore the cave, making proper and detailed maps and measurements. They will video their expedition to turn into a documentary in the future. The experienced team of divers, which has explored thousands of caves in the United States, began their dive this past Friday the Thirteenth!
