Scientific Study Shows Vacations Are Good For You

In what might seem like a dispatch from the Department of the Blatantly Obvious, a new study has shown that travel is good for you. Human beings have long experienced the relaxation and change in perspective that taking a holiday promotes, but now there is scientific data to reinforce such conclusions.

The study was sponsored by European travel firm Kuoni and tracked 12 pairs of individuals, with half of them travelling abroad and the other half staying put. Scientists measured the subjects’ blood pressure, stress levels, and other metrics to determine their well-being.
