Sweet link to a good post there. I take great delight in rumaging around in second hand clothing piles when I’m abroad – I guess thats my dirty little secret – haha! Weird to some but an institution to others, but I just can’t pass a second hand clothing stall or shop without being drawn in!
My two finest hours were:
1. Discovering a large warehouse type shop in San Salvador absolutely packed to the gunnels with US cast offs. (managed to get almost a whole new, well needed wardrobe for $6!!) My girlfriend threw caution to the wind and spent a whole $8 though…Some people just have to go one better…
2. finding a large secondhand clothing section in the central market in Phnom Penh. Amazing. Bails and bails of second hand tat. wonderful!
keep the posts coming,
Regards, Nath
