Seven baggage handlers, or “ramp rats” as they are nicknamed, have been arrested for theft after items kept going missing from passengers luggage.

All of the men were employed by airline El Al at New York’s JFK airport, and one of the baggage handlers was even wearing a stolen watch when he was arrested.

An investigation was launched after thousands of dollars or electronics, jewelry and other valuables were reporting missing from luggage.
