And for the people who might whine about getting up early, I still think it&#039;s totally worth it to set the alarm, go out and explore early, and then if you want, come back and have a siesta nap in the afternoon when everyone else is fighting it out to get a good view!</description>

		<description>Regarding looking at the calendar, you would also want to take a peek at *why* the off season in a place is the off season. It can be that the weather is awful (England in the winter) or everyone is on holiday (Rio de Janeiro in January before Carnival).</description>

		<description>Your suggestion about going to places early is spot on. in Rome you can have the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and all other outdoor sites to yourself as the sun rises. This is especially true in all cities on Sunday mornings.</description>
