Some flights on Virgin Atlantic’s Little Red service are about to get livelier. The airline is introducing live entertainment on select routes. If you thought taking a flip through the in-flight magazine, or browsing newfangled on-demand entertainment was fun, imagine having comedians and musicians on board to perform for passengers.

In today’s day and age where people are used to having control over pausing, fast forwarding, and changing the channel if a program isn’t to their liking, it remains to be seen how live music and comedy will be received. Flight attendants might find that the volume of requests for earplugs increases significantly.
