4-Minute Road Trip: Los Angeles to New York City
by Mike Richard
Looking at the comments and author’s notes on YouTube, there’s a bit of confusion about who actually filmed this video. It’s pretty damn cool nonetheless.
Update: This is a music video by director Michel Gondry. The song is called “Behind” by Lacquer.

I can’t wait to be able to do this, Mark. It’s the classic American road trip.

Holy damn that’s cool – makes me sad I’m selling my car. I think what would make this film even better are little location labels when they pass into a city or state; I’d love to know which route they took.

Ben, yeah I was thinking the same thing. It’s definitely cool, but about half-way through it starts to get a little monotonous because there’s no sense of perspective with respect to where they are.
