Forget personal LCD screens, 199 music channels, and 3-D games – Australians are in the mood for higher end in-flight entertainment.
Reuters is reporting that, according to a survey, two in three Australians would either like to be a member of the Mile High Club, or have already been initiated into its cramped, hallowed halls.
Asked if they would consider a mid-air sexual encounter, almost half of 1,110 people surveyed wanted an adventure, while 12 percent already had mile-high membership wings.
Obviously, the promise of “pure listening pleasure” isn’t pleasurable enough.
The arrival of super super jumbos with fully reclinable seats has made it easier for the average Joe to gain membership into the elite traveler’s club, and some airlines have been requesting passengers to refrain. Singapore Airlines has been particular about asking First Class passengers who enjoy a double bed not to “misuse” the perk.
According to TotalTravel.com which carried out the survey, people are looking for “more stimulating entertainment than a movie.” Ya don’t say.
