One year ago today, Nora Dunn continued her multipart miniseries, A Practical Guide to Vagabonding and Long Term Travel, with Part 5: Making Money on the Road:
Depending on the goals you set and money you saved, you may need to earn a little cash on the road to pay for your travels. If you have an open-ended itinerary with no set time frame and you don’t have a stash of money to fund the entire trip (especially if becoming a vagabond is a life choice and not a gap year), you will most certainly need to be creative in your travels.
She goes on to explore several options, including:
- Online income
- Work-trade
- Odd jobs
- Work visas
- Rental income
It’s a must-read for potential and current long-term travelers. Check out the complete installment and share your tips with us in the comments section!
