Bungie Jumping For Wussies

Paul over at TravMonkey recently took the plunge (pun intended) on the world’s largest highwire bungy - the 134 meter Nevis Highwire Bungy in Queenstown.
I myself am afraid of heights. Not deathly afraid mind you, but enough that my knees get a bit wobbly and my sense of balance starts to misfire. I do feel like bungie jumping is something I should do at least once in my life though. Then of course, I hear inspirational bits such as these:
After climbing out of bed and waiting for the bus to pick me up I was feeling slightly nervous but not really as bad as I had expected. Although my nerves were not helped when I had to fill out a “toe tag” before catching the bus, I believe the “toe tag” was to be used if the worst did happen. It didn’t fill me with confidence.
Lovely. I’ve added “diaper” and “handle of Old Grand Dad” to my travel gear checklist. That oughta dull the fear.
