FAA Discovers Second Air Traffic Controller Asleep on the Job

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released details of a second occurrence of an air traffic controller sleeping on the job Wednesday.

During a congressional hearing, FAA Administrator, Randy Babbitt, released details regarding said incident occurring in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 19th.

The controller was found in the radar room asleep with cushions and a blanket.

Seriously? It’s one thing to be so tired that you’re nodding off accidentally at work. But this guy’s bringing feety pajamas and a banky with him?!
