Forget Your ID? Just Show Your Magazine Cover at the Gate
by Shabana
Charleston Mayor Danny Jones found himself in a bit of a fix at Orange County’s John Wayne Airport. He had lost his driver’s license, and the one he had was an old expired one that wouldn’t do.
The honorable mayor remembered just in time, a magazine that he had picked up in Charleston, featuring an article by him welcoming visitors to the city with an accompanying photograph.
Showing it to security at the gate, they were evidently convinced enough to let him board the flight.
Try that the next time you forget your ID. Bring along your high school year book and see what happens.
