How often has this happened to you while traveling? It’s the middle of the night. Nature calls. You are half awake and think to yourself, “Wait. Where am I?” as you stumble your way to the bathroom (at least you hope it’s the bathroom!) Entrepreneur Tim Fittler aims to change that scenario by outfitting hotels with toilet seats that glow in the dark.

The NightGlow toilet seat is a conventional white toilet seat during the day, but in the dark it glows either green or blue. This model features several enhancements over its predecessor the PottyGlow, most notably that the seat stays aglow for a whole night. Fittler is marketing his invention to hotels, nursing homes, hospitals, and other establishments where the clientele is prone to being confused and missing the mark.
