Art created by a Grade 11 student from Honolulu will be the next addition to Alaska Airlines’ fleet of colorfully painted airplanes. The design by 16-year-old Aaron Nee depicts Polynesian adventurers in a traditional canoe and bright hibiscus flowers.

Nee plans to use the prize money for his college education. The other component of his prize is four tickets wherever the airline flies, and this lucky winner plans to use it to take his family to New York and see snow for the first time.
