Hopeful artists take note–your next masterpiece could be inspired by a simple hotel stay. While it might not be cost effective to stay in Ian Fleming’s villa at the GoldenEye in Jamaica (an estimated $5,400 a night), there are other modest options on CNNGo.com’s list.

The former home of Mozart is now a hotel and retains original frescoes and vaulted chapel ceilings. Visitors staying in the John and Yoko suite at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, receive a copy of “Give Peace a Chance”.
