Hotels are going the James Bond way. Pretty soon, you’ll be able to swipe your way into your room at the Plaza Hotel with a RFID card instead of your regular plastic card. You might even be able to dial your way into your room through your cell phone, or use an eco friendly paper card to access your room. Fingerprint scans and iris scans are not far behind either.
These are all security measures being considered as hotels vie to provide the highest security and safety features for guests. The paper cards are not only more secure, but are also a welcome alternative to disposable and frequently use plastic cards.
Other advantages include no more having to worry about losing your keys, or leaving them behind in the room.
