Human Tetris
by Mike Richard
The Japanese never cease to amaze me. It seems no game show, food, or outlandish technology (see Chindogu) is ever weird enough. There’s always some chap in Tokyo willing to push the boundary just a bit further.
Check out this video via Two-Zero’s blog:
I’m not gonna lie – it looks like fun. I wonder if there’s a human tetris/karaoke hybrid game show in the works? Drunk lip-syncing to Celine Dion while trying to cram yourself through an impossibly small hole in a piece of moving foam core? Does it get any better?

Have you seen this? And this?

The first … A naked Japanese guy getting launched down a ski slope on a fiery lounge chair? Who comes up with this sh*t? American TV could never compete with prank/game shows like that. We’re all just too sue happy.
The second … well let’s just say that I’ve ordered their workout DVD and it now has a home on my media shelf next to my extensive John Basedow collection. It’s like a car wreck – I just couldn’t look away. Oh and “it’s your fault that this happened.”
