I Leave Next Year

Everytime we plan a trip, I can’t wait until the Sunday before the week we leave so I can say, “We’re off to [fill in fun place here] next week.” It brings the trip so much closer in my mind.
I can’t wait until January of 2007 so I can say, “I leave next year.” I think it’s all about building incremental mini-milestones in your head.

Don’t sweat it, dude. I just returned from 8 months of RTW travel with my wife of 5 years. We nearly killed each other, and she cramped my style. You’ll be better off without her, and you probably won’t want to date her when you return.
