For all the nay-sayers who’d like to rain on your long-term travel parade with questions like, “Why would you want to be away from home for [fill in long period of time here]?”, there’s this brief tour of the known universe. If this doesn’t spark the spirit of exploration in you, nothing will.
And you thought Earth was big. I’d say “humbling” accurately describes this piece.

thanks for that i’m trying to find a screen saver that gives a similar sort of tour around the known universe so you can really loose yourself in it.
