Google’s megafuturistic Glass goggles has had folks abuzz over the possible applications of the technology, with lots of talk and speculation over how it might be used. The images show real-time updates on parking availability, flight status, fare estimates for those arriving without a ticket, a map of available power outlets in the terminal, and baggage claim information. In essence, most of the signage and information boards at the airport could be superseded by specific, individualized information directly to the traveler.
