Kidnap Travel: French Company Offers Adrenaline Junkies Something Different Mike Richard March 18 France, News 8 Comments Skydiving, BASE jumping, shark diving and other forms of near-death experience just not getting your adrenaline pumping anymore? French firm Ultime Réalité is now offering “kidnap packages”. For around 900 Euros, the firm will kidnap you at random, bound and gag you, and incarcarate you for up to 11 hours, depending on the “package” you choose. Yes, really. Possible add-ons include helicopter chases, “be a drug smuggler for a day”, be buried alive, or … just about anything you can imagine. You’re invited to be creative: For those searching for the ultimate nightmare, the company is also hoping to branch out beyond kidnappings and is looking into options such as spending a night in a morgue, or attending your own funeral. The company’s already getting up to two requests per day. I won’t lie – it has a certain intrigue to it. It’s a little like living a video game. 8 Responses uberVU - social comments March 18 Social comments and analytics for this post… This post was mentioned on Twitter by silvia4: RT @vagabondish: Kidnap Travel: French Company Offers Adrenaline Junkies Something Different – #travel – http://tinyurl.com/ycnlc33… Reply MJ’s Travel Favorites 3-21-10 | Traveling with MJ March 21 […] Vagabondish reports on a travel trend that seems like something right out of a movie – kidnap travel. The victim, I mean traveler, is kidnapped and then a wild adventure follows. The French company invites participants to be creative.
