Travel site First Choice launched the “Conflict of Pinterest 2012” competition to find the most beautiful country in the world. Visitors to the site were asked to submit their votes via Twitter and Pinterest pins and with votes still being tallied, Latvia appears to be in the lead.
With Latvia taking 36 percent of the votes, Mexico and Turkey (#2 and #3 respectively) may have some catching up to do before the competition comes to a close. So what are voters saying is beautiful about the Baltic nation? The people, everything after winter ends, and the coast. Sounds like good justifications to me.
