You know that feeling you get when you step out of the grocery store or shopping mall and can’t remember where you parked your car? You stare out at a sea of similar vehicles trying to jog your memory of where you left yours? Geoff Wilson won’t have that problem with the sledge he’s taking on his trek across Antarctica. His “boob sled” is bright pink and modelled after his wife’s bust.
Wilson will attempt to break the record for the fastest solo, unsupported crossing of Antarctica, which means he has to traverse the continent in under 64 days. The adventurer will be on skis, dragging the soon-to-be-infamous breast-shaped sledge, and propelled by a kite. The Pink Polar Expedition aims to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation, which provides specially trained breast care nurses to help breast cancer patients across Australia.
