Mariage Proposal Gets a Little Help From the Queen Mary II

A very special Valentine’s Day proposal down under got a little help from the Queen Mary II. The boat was draped with a four meter tall black and white banner that read “Marry me, Jess” as it sailed into Sydney Harbor.
The stunt started a frantic search by breakfast television programs in Australia to find the mysterious “Jess”.
It was eventually revealed that the mysterious couple were Jess McGarrity and Stefan Libon. The proposal was real–but it was a part of a carefully orchestrated PR campaign.
Even though she said yes, Jess was less than impressed by the very public proposal (especially the part in which she was blindfolded and forced into a strange dark car). Stefan is making it up to her with a week-long vacation in Tasmania–during which he has promised to find a more private time to pop the question again.
