South Korea Celebrates Mud Festival

Last week, the South Korean town of Boryeong kicked off its 15th annual Mud Festival. Seven different kinds of mud-based cosmetics have been created in Boryeong, and as noted in the photo above, it’s not the typical mud we’re used to seeing. Participants can enjoy all-natural skin conditioning, mud wrestling, mud baths and a mud marathon. The festival will continue to run through July 24.

It all seems so reminiscent of running through muddy puddles as a child. More images of the festival can be seen at CNNGO.com
