Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and… Super Mario?
Visitors to the Louvre Museum in Paris will soon have the opportunity to be guided around the vast museum by a Nintendo 3DS.
The 3DS consoles by Nintendo will replace the more traditional audio guides and feature an interactive map and tracking device to ensure that visitors never get lost. There are also over 700 descriptions of the Louvre’s galleries and artworks, 3D photos of the Louvre’s galleries, high-definition images of many masterpieces and 3D reconstructions of some exhibits.
The guides are sponsored by Korean Air and cost visitors an additional 5 euros.
