From Matador comes an update on the crucial topic of airport sleeping arrangements, with Moscow airport set to introduce ultra-compact sleep pods.

At their lowest wholesale price, these sell for about 7,000 Euros (~$10K), and Sleepbox’s suggested guest rate is at 15 euros/hour or 50 euros/night.

They don’t look too luxurious, but then again it’s not hard to beat balancing between two plastic chairs at the airport Wendy’s.

  1. I’d pay 20 bucks for a cozier night at the airport, but I’m a deal hunting backpacker. I could see a lot of business travellers using them, especially if they only have a few hours between flights, as it saves them having to spend time traveling to and from a hotel giving them more time to rest.
