Packing Pro Travel App Guarantees You’ll Always Remember What to Pack
by Mike Richard | May, 2011

As a travel addict I love not only travel itself – the act of moving – but the requisite preparation for the trip as well. Bottom line: I love to plan and pack. It’s a sickness, for sure, but one that I relish.
Clearly the folks at QuinnScape do too. They take packing seriously which is why their recently redesigned Packing Pro v6.0 mobile app is getting attention among travel pros. It’s been featured in Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money and voted one of the all time best travel apps by CNN, Travel + Leisure, and National Geographic.
After taking a spin through it, it’s easy to see why. We absolutely love it too!
There are countless to-do/checklist apps, but Packing Pro takes it a step further with countless pre-populated, travel-specific checklist items to choose from. This includes many essentials that most travelers know, but may not think to actually take care of, like:
- Setup e-mail autoresponder
- E-mail a copy of your itinerary to family/friends
- Prep electronic gadgets
- Prepare a will
- Get a haircut
Of course, not every traveler packs and prepares the same way. Which is why the app is completely customizable and allows travelers to build checklists from the existing catalog of tasks or enter completely custom fields.
If you’re serious about travel and are looking for a travel-specific iPad/iPhone to-do app, this is the one to get.
Later today, we’ll be Tweeting away five redeem codes for the full version of Packing Pro 6.0. Stay tuned!
