Upon opening the box, the construction feels sturdy and well-made. The silicone rubber is solid with just a bit of soft give, ensuring that it’s comfortable to hold – more so than the iPhone itself.
The PowerSkin is not a complicated device, so there aren’t many “features” per se. Inside the box are the case itself and a charging cable. The former features several LED lights that indicate the battery level. The latter provides for charging via the standard wall power adapter or via pass-through on your laptop or home computer.
And the most important part: with the case fully charged, it’ll effectively double the iPhone’s battery life. The end. On a long-haul flight, that’s really the only piece that matters.

The Bottom Line
The price is directly inline with similar battery cases. But the deciding factor for us is that the battery cell continues to hold a charge after months of daily use. For long-haul travelers, it’s simply a must-have.
