The Queen’s Advice for Staying Healthy While Abroad

She has spent a lifetime traveling the globe meeting with her subjects and foreign dignitaries so it seems only natural that Queen Elizabeth II has developed her own ways of ensuring she stays healthy on the road.

The beans were spilled on the British monarch’s travel secrets during a tribute to the Queen in the UK Parliament.

“Father of the House” Sir Peter Tapsell stated during the tribute that,

“The bedrock of her [Queen Elizabeth’s] success has been the constitution, not our constitution but hers because she has always had the most astonishing stamina.”

Tapsell then stated that a royal courtier once told him how the monarch managed to cope with the demands of travelling more than 80,000km a year without falling ill.

The courtier’s answer?

“By not eating salads, shellfish and watermelon while travelling.”

So looks like the cat is out of the bag. You too can have the Queens “astonishing stamina” by avoiding salads, shellfish and watermelon on the road. Easy peasy.
