  1. I tried this a few weeks ago, and I didn’t experience any pleasant feelings about it. In fact, I felt lonely as soon as I woke up, without the sound of friendly chatter in my ears or the familiar rustle of bedsheets that were not my own. So I guess the experience of waking up alone in a strange town is perceived differently by everyone.
