In preparation for the Chinese New Year later this month, an aquarium in suburban Tokyo has once again used the talents of their own, to usher in 2012.
Jay the sea lion was spotted at Hakkejima Sea Paradise this week with his trainer, writing in Chinese characters, “dragon”. Last year, another seal had the honor of writing in the traditional calligraphy for the holiday. Hakkejima is also known for festively-dressed animals during Christmas.
If the aquarium gig doesn’t work out, Jay can always try his hand at addressing wedding announcements. More on Jay and Hakkejima can be seen here.
