See Berlin, Germany By … Go-Kart?

Kart4You (site’s in German, sorry) provides go kart rentals for “touring” downtown Berlin and environs. I don’t have any other info (in English anyway) except for this video:

I’m sure the idea of sitting four inches off the ground in an eighty pound plastic and tin go kart while getting passed by a barrage of BMWs and Mercedes moving at triple digit speeds down the German autobahn may be a bit more than some folks can stomach.

Pretty cool though, no?

I’m amazed they don’t even have to wear helmets!

I see so many stories like this from countries around the world and think, “If only in America …”

We never get to have any fun here in the States. Not without a helmet, a backup helmet, and a giant, protective rubber suit that makes you look like the Michelin man.
