For travelers concerned with profiling on their way through airport security, a new smartphone app allows travelers to lodge complaints within minutes of the incident.

FlyRights is a free app for iPhone and Android. Users can specify if they’ve been profiled on the basis of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, nationality or disability. Once the complaint has been sent, it’s received by the TSA, Homeland Security and The Sikh Coalition. The Coalition (which speaks for the 500,000-strong Sikh American community) along with support by African American, Latino and Muslim civil rights groups, created the application.
