Stockholm Hotel Welcoming Guests to Stay For Free in Exchange for Artwork

Sounds like an ingenius plan to redecorate ©iambents
Aspiring artists can sleep for free at the Clarion Hotel in Stockholm–all they have to do is bring a piece of art in exchange for a room.
The new promotion was inspired by New York City’s Chelsea Hotel, where artists and muscians could trade in a work of art for a room. The Clarion recently launched the promotion and allows guests to stay for free up to two nights a year. Any piece will do, even poems and simple doodles, although the Clarion will store the art and own full rights to each piece.

This sounds like the kind of thing that would never happen in the U.S., aside from a place like the Chelsea. Very cool!
