Surfer conquers record-setting 100-foot wave

by

Daredevil pro surfer Garrett McNamara is being credited with setting a new world record by surfing a 100-foot wave in Portugal. This feat breaks his previous record, which was set in 2011 when he caught a 90-foot wave in Nazare, Portugal.

The hair-raising images of the massive wave captured on video scream “Do Not Try This At Home!” Luckily, McNamara was raised in Hawaii and has a lifetime of surfing to prepare him for this supercharged moment.
