Taiwan is now branching out to the tech-savvy traveler on the go, by offering free wi-fi to tourists.

The country was one of the first of its kind to offer free wi-fi to residents and now via “iTaiwan”, tourists can use the service. iTaiwan has about 4,400 hotspots nationwide. Registration is very simple–visitors can visit any Taiwan Tourism Bureau center to sign up.
