Tall Flier Attempting to Appeal Extra Airline Fees for Legroom
by Heather Bond

At 6’7″, Malcom Johnson, along with many other tall fliers, find it difficult to sustain airplane flights without feeling cramped and uncomfortable.
For years, Johnson has been flying from his native Canada to France at least twice a year, and settles for the fees imposed with extra legroom. Last year, he filed a complaint with the Canadian Transportation Agency to stop charging the fees. However, his complaint was rejected because height was not considered an adequate disability by the agency.
Johnson is continuing his crusade and making it public for those of equal concern. More details on his crusade can be seen here.

Wow, I am only 6’0″ and find flying extremely uncomfortable because of the lack of legroom… I cannot imagine being 6’7″… I hope he wins! Planes need more legroom.
