The sedation treatment you may be familiar with from your dentist’s chair, has hit the streets of Bangkok. Bangkok police are cracking down on street vendors selling nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas” (or that stuff that makes dental work less scary).

Vendors are selling nitrous in balloons, typically to tourists, for about $4. The trend starting popping up earlier this month in a known backpacker district of the city.
