I have a terrible time understanding foreign accents. Every time I order Chinese delivery, I wind up with nothing but a bag of duck sauce packets and a carton of disposable chopsticks. I’m clearly doing something wrong. It’s an irritating shortcoming of mine that I’m sure will make for many interesting, if not embarrassing, encounters while I’m traveling abroad.

It appears I’m not the only one. Road Junky picked up on this very loose (OK: entirely inaccurate) English “translation” of a rather intriguing Indian video (Note: some risqué and explicit lyrics):

I guarantee you’ll wake up tomorrow morning humming, “My loony bun is fine Benny Lava.” You can thank me for that.

I am sure in India some guy is doing the same thing to David Hasselhof’s GET IN MY CAR video.

Every country has their hilariously shameful exports. It’s only fair that we all get to poke fun at them.
