Indonesia’s Taru Jurug Zoo is taking a stand against smoking, but not how one might think. The zoo’s 15-year-old orangutan Tori is the smoker in question. A longtime attraction for zoo visitors, Tori developed her love for smoking from her parents.

The zoo has previously tried to help her quit, but blame tourists for encouraging the habit by tossing lit cigarettes into her cage. Tori also puts her fingers to her lips to alert passersby that she wants a cigarette.

The latest action being taken to protect Tori is a move to a small Indonesian island, far away from her favorite vice. More on Tori’s cold turkey plan can be seen at CNNGO.com
